PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Slide-In Li-ion Battery Pack ECP (Electronic Cell Protection) and CLI (Charge Level Indicator) offers power without a memory or lazy battery effect. The ECP allows the cells in the battery to be monitored electronically so that the power output of the tool will be automatically reduced in case of an overload, deep discharge or overheating. The CLI informs the user how much more power is available by displaying the charging state. It also has a low self-discharge rate. After 30 days of inactivity the lithium-ion battery still contains 96% of its specified rated capacity. The 18 V Slide-In Li-Ion Battery Pack ECP is only appropriate for Li-Ion tools from the professional ranges in the same voltage class.
