The Starlock MAII 52 APB blade delivers extra-wide, deep cuts in wood and non-hardened metal. Its 52 mm blade width and 70 mm length increase the blade’s reach for extended cuts. With direct power transfer, the blade’s flat design reduces wobbling to enable a controlled deep cut. These heavy-duty features make this product ideal for deep and wide plunge cuts in wood and wooden beams containing nails as well as for cutting non-hardened nails, screws and steel profiles with small dimensions. It cuts through wood and non-hardened metal, soft plastic, plastic laminated panels and plasterboard. A rounded cutting edge (Curved-Tec) makes for precise and smooth plunge cutting. The BIM (bi-metal) combination of an HCS (high carbon steel) blade and HSS (high-speed steel) teeth resists wear and heat to guarantee long life when cutting non-hardened metals and abrasive materials. The Starlock Max system offers maximum depth, speed and versatility in even the most demanding heavy-duty applications. Additionally, the Starlock Snap-In feature allows fast blade removal and exchange within 3 seconds without having to touch the blade. The special mounting system produces the highest power transfer thanks to a 3-dimensional tight-fitting connection between machine and accessory.
