Used to mitigate injuries in case of falls from low heights
– It consists of a vest with reflectors and an integrated airbag made of tear-resistant material that inflates in the event of a fall
– SKYVEST is inflated by means of a pressurised bottle equipped with a pyrotechnic release
– The inflation unit is connected to an electronic sensor unit, which recognises a fall situation on the basis of parameters such as the movement, acceleration and position of the person
– This way, not only are the chest and back protected, including the spine, but also the back of the head and the tailbone region
– The vest is fastened using three click fasteners and can be reused after the airbag has been deployed
– Flexible, independent and universally usable over a period of 24 hours
